"The Lay The Rails Six Inches Farther Apart Traincar Sales Promotion award goes to Microsoft for Windows XP, which won't run applications customers already own and have been using for years."

Umm...What software would that be? It runs everything I have just fine...

Dunno. XP runs my stuff fine. Maybe people should try the handy compatibility options? Right click on that .exe file and run in compatibility mode for older versions of windows.

Although I still say XP sucks, it has the least amount of suck compared to other windows, if you don't count the lame Windows Product Activation. If you count that it is on the same level of annoyance as lesser versions.

That product activiation do suck!!! XP professional doesn't have that!

I really do like XP though! XP pro that is!

XP sucks more than the suckiest suck to ever suck.

Naw, this article sucks more than XP.

Typical. Give people more flexibility, power and stability and they can't handle it. Nando can't figure out how use something as simple as the 'Compatibility' option for XP, and lambast IT as being stupid.

Nando: RTFM, you braindead idiots.

This is not the dubious achievement awards, this is a purulent pedant whining petulantly about pet peeves.

X10 definitely deserved the Nudge-Nudge-Wink-Wink award. And I think the pop-unders began with X10 itself. Right?

Dalyse, XP Pro does have the activation feature...Unless of course you're running the corporate version, but that's primarily downloaded from warez sites, and I'm sure you'd never do something like that...Right?

What a waste of an article. I haven't found a program yet that won't run in XP, except my really old DOS games that I never play anymore anyway.

The Most Annoying award goes to those companies whose pop-up and pop-under ads make surfing the Web like walking through a minefield.

Hmm. Doesn't this piece of poo site have one of those dang-a-lang adverts. Hoser.

I don't get pop ups or unders from Fark, Haqspan, perhaps you're seeing them from the sites the articles are linked from???
