In other words, "drink enough of this stuff and you'll believe this crap I'm preaching at you."

Anthony O'Connell, 27, is a native of Ireland now job-searching in Boston. Theology on Tap reminds him a bit of his homeland, where the comfort of a local pub sometimes brings out honesty hidden elsewhere.

Good ole' Ireland.

And it is O.K. to sleep with the priest, but only if you are male.
If any Catholics want to bash me, go ahead.
I was brought up Catholic and went to Catholic schools for 12 years.
Now you all know why I'm sick in the head.
Some of those Christian Brothers and Nuns I had to deal with must of been reincarted S.S. Nazis.

Catholics Drink? What?

Oh ya, they have to drink in order to make as many babies as they do! LOL

(Forgive me Father)

The link was dead, but being a Catholic I can say the whole drinking thing is one of the cool things about the religion. Course I am sure this will be a forum for Catholic bashing. Oh well, least we can booze!!!!!!!!!!

Catholicism 0wnz0r, j00 f00l, and SLAYERSWINE, I had to deal with nuns too. They were interesting people. My first grade teacher, Sister Catherine Ann, took me and my best friend to the zoo after school ended because we missed the field trip. (Chicken Pox).

And if any priest wanted to mess with THIS altar boy... well, I'm 6'2", 170 lbs, and I carry a heavy bronze staff. No one's coming NEAR me!

Now look, If you could choose being a Catholic and a Southern Baptist and you liked Beer and Wine, which would you choose? Now, the Southern Baptist tell us all of the time that we Catholics "stray from the Bible". While that may be, in some sense, true, I don't remember where is said anything in the KJ Bible about the permenent abstinance of alcohol (Yes, I read 3 different translations of the Bible, the King James, the New American, and the St. Joseph). I say drink, at least for "thy stomach's sake".

Marist: Catholics DO stray from the Bible big-time. But there is nothing in the Bible that says thou shalt not drink alchohol.

It's thanks to the fundies around here that we have a no alcohol sales on Sunday law. Farking stupid if you ask me. I don't drink myself, but that's because I don't care for alcohol.
