Likely, "Creative Cloud". Which is arguably worse.

Don't worry, trust in the "Creative Cloud"...

Heraclitus: Adobe Installers should be added to your anti virus definitions.

That program is as needy as Java or iTunes.

I remember when it first came out: It was a cool, new thing you could add to your browser. Most sites didn't have any flash content, so there was a gallery of sites supporting it you could browse through to see the new, wiz-bang future of the internet.

Never was all that sure of the difference between flash and shockwave flash.

They're not renaming Flash itself, just the development tool for creating it.

Faddy: Flash is alive until Google kills its default implimentation in Chrome

Which they aren't going to do because half of the internet would suddenly stop displaying. Ah, Adobe, buggy as hell, but everyone has to put up with you because you have no real competition.

Sounds pretty sweet.... I couldn't care less about the Flash file formats  (swf, FLV, etc), but the old Flash Professional software used to create actual animation is damn robust.   Glad to hear they're improving it by further incorporating today's technologies.

Speaking of Flash, anyone else hyped for the crossover?

What I wanna know is how the hell does Acrobat Reader get weekly updates and yet I haven't noticed a new feature in years? How many bugs that don't impact the user experience in any noticeable way can one piece of software HAVE?
