Bah humbug.

Why Fb-, I was going to suggest that you were the secret donor.

I didn't think that those size bills were in circulation.

I took the day off work today. That's a little christmas gift to myself. It feels good to give.

Uhhhgggg.. I just read that article. That sucks. The Salvation Army is ran by Jerry Falwell. The Salvation Army isn't about helping homeless or less fortunate people, it's about funding and army of Christian fundamentalists to salvage your lost soul for Jesus.

They have a great scam going though.

Perhaps you'd rather give your money to the Slavation Army instead?

hmm...what type of person has stacks of these bills? ...perhaps someone's who's stolen them?

I predict that the $1000 bill guy is eventually found to be some russian spy that sold babies for cold, hard cash printed long, long ago...or the founder of Salvation Army who (with his own donations) was able to build a time machine in order to travel to the future and donate...to his own fund...so...he could...egh, fark you.

I bet the secret donor is Ernie!!!

It is his money to give. Should not matter who he gives it to. How much money have you donated this Christmas? Bet it wasn't $1000 (BTW I do not think I would of given it to SA either, but oh well)

$1000 will go a long way towards forcing women to have unwanted babies. This in turn will help feed the cycle of poverty and crime. Praise Jeebus.

I'd pay those folks if they, perhaps, would cease their bell ringing for a set amount of cash.

When the faith-based social services initiative was being planned by the Bush Administration, the Salvation Army asked for an exemption from the equal opportunity requirements for receiving federal funds.

Charity for some - bupkiss for others.

I hate to be cynical, but the picture of him pulling out that $1000 bill really reminded me of Hell.com. I.e., someone trying to buy a little bit of their soul back.

as opposed to denying those babies the right to exist as human beings and assuming if they are born, they will grow up to be bloodthirsty criminals.

Sweet idea, but if he tells them when and where before hand, why dont they just put a hidden camera watching the spot

Dumb Title Alert: RANDOM act of kindness this was not. It's been going on for years, and the same amount is given each year (although you could technically argue that less and less is given each year).

Unless this is a series of articles. Which wouldn't be bad.

Wake up America! This guy is donating $1000 a year anonymously because it is the only way he can kill blacks and eat babies! I hope they find this terrorist and give him what's coming to him!

Man, some of you guys must shiat needles or something.

SomeCallMeTim: Guess what, there is a thing called adoption, so every child is wanted by someone. And I most definitely want my baby, who was born 8 days ago.

And why all the skeptics? There ARE people who do this kind of thing for purely altruistic reasons. This person could be one of them.

LadyAlexa: "Guess what, there is a thing called adoption, so every child is wanted by someone."

So are you saying that if someone gets pregnant, they should be forced by the government to have the child?

Congratulations on the baby, I'm sure you will be a loving mother and the child will have a great life. However, it just isn't that way for many people, and I don't feel I have the right to tell a woman what to do with her body, and neither does the government.

Perhaps the only thing Fb- has ever said that I agree with. Not that any one gives a shiat.

Does it bother anyone else that people don't actually start showing some generosity until the holiday season?
As if that allows you to act like an asshole for the rest of the year.

Interesting little sidenote here...those kettles have signs that say "Need has no season." KonamiCode is right. I would call that "compulsion giving." There's a difference between that and giving because you actually care.
