How many of them are clean?

So number one on that list is another proven cheater?

7 MLB players with a shot

I saw one guy with a pretty good shot, one guy with a small shot, and five list fillers

9/1 as a favorite isn't exactly a sure thing.
That record is so insane if one really thinks about it. 40 hrs a year on average for 15 years only gets you to 600.
Time is the defining factor since just a couple down years off that pace and they're done. Frank Thomas played nearly 20 years and only got to 500 and change.

If Stanton spent the next 15 years at Coors Field, it's possible.

It was the cream and the clear, IIRC.

Thank You Black Jesus!: If Stanton spent the next 15 years at Coors Field, it's possible.

Coors Field hasn't been a launching pad since they stated putting baseballs in a humidor.

Also lol at "who's clean", drugs are as old as baseball is

Anyone else have a math pedant twitch when A-Rod's 9 to 1 shot is described as a 1 in 10 in the first sentence?

I would not be surprised to see ARod break it. He should have a few more decent years in him and if he gets that close then I think he would seek out some cutting edge PEDs to give him that late career boost he needs to get the record (assuming he isn't doing this now). It really doesn't matter if he gets caught or not since everyone already views him as a cheater.....He really has nothing to lose.

I kind of did, but then started to think that maybe I just wasn't aware of what 9-1 translates to, and looking into it now, 9-1 is apparently a 10% chance.

Yeah, fark Barry Bonds. His records should be removed so as not to tarnish the amazing things Pete Rose, Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Willie Stargell and other were able accomplish on amphetamines.

/and today's brave ballplayers today struggling with ADHD.

Huh.  Thanks.
