Happens more often then you think.

Now that's the scary thing.

Hmm, I wonder if the programmers at the Space Channel read this story before choosing last night's Voyager episode. It was the first one with the Vidiians, the aliens who stole organs to survive the Phage. IMHO, the creepiest Star Trek villains ever.

Now I feel more comfy with having my transplant later this week. I think i will have an inventory list ready for the surgeon.

Might the organs, the lawyers asked, be in a collector's jar somewhere along with other morbid trophies from the strangler case?

Wow collecting stuff like organs would be hard. Though I'd love to have Walter Payton rookie card displayed along side his brain. Now that would be worth some money.

Probably some needy person has them. That's my guess. I think people only collect organs of famous criminals.

Mmmmmmmm....Soylent green.

Oh crap.
And I thought I got some extra food outta Wendy's drive thru.
No wonder that stuff tasted funky.

Quetz: the Boston Strangler is pretty famous dude... He is up there with cool company; Rameriez, Gacy, and that Sam I am dude... heh....

See, to be a true famous evil doer, you need a nickname... Boston Strangler, Nightstawker, Son of Sam, Jack the Ripper, Rosie O'Donnell....

I hadn't actually noticed who it was we were talking about. Now that you point it out Cleighton this article becomes funnier.

And Cleighton, I see your from Lowell. I'm sorry.

First your arm, then your leg, now your guts. farkin' taxes.
2001-12-19 01:12:53 PM
Cleighton, hey you're right! I must have skimmed too fast. In that case maybe they should try Ebay?
2001-12-19 01:13:17 PM
Ronin: heh... Low, Lower, Lowest, Lowell......
2001-12-19 01:19:30 PM
My sentiments exactly. I try to avoid Lowell, and Lawrence at all cost.
2001-12-19 01:59:50 PM
You gotta have guts to keep someone's internal organs....
Thank yew, I'll be here all week, try the veal.

This is really creepy. Albert DeSalvo was very likely NOT the Boston Strangler, from what I've read. I heard Mussolini's brain is preserved somewhere in Italy and on display. I wonder if there's a private collector somewhere charging admission to see the "alleged Boston Strangler's" lungs, kidneys, heart, and spleen!

This reminds me of something. If you are an organ donor, the government can legally take any organ from you at any time. At least I read this somewhere.

2001-12-19 10:21:52 PM
Psykomantis - that's so incredibly far from the truth. Being an organ donor doesn't even give them the right to take your organs after you die... your family will still have to approve.

Or were you just thinking of Monty Python perhaps?
