I just ate one and a half pounds of lutefisk, lefse, potatoes, and cod.

I don't remember lutefisk being hallucinogenic but I'd swear I'm tripping balls.

There are 190 calories per serving-which the food wizards of McDonaldland have determined is four pieces-of Chicken McNuggets.

I thought we just had a big deal about how a serving of McNuggets is 10 pieces.

I hadn't been to Popeyes in several years, and made the mistake of getting a 3-piece spicy with red beans and rice for dinner.  I almost had to leave the office next day, my farts were so bad.  I can only imagine what 50 parts-is-parts nuggets would do...

I'm guessing the self-loathing kicks in once the ranch runs out but you keep eating anyways.

Popeyes is my weakness. They just built one by my house. I'm pretty fit and eat healthy but goddammit I can tear up some popeyes here and there.

Back in college the cafeteria had chicken nuggets on Friday nights. It was all-you-could-eat if you ate there, or you could get a decent sized styrofoam clamshell container and fill it with whatever.

I easily may have eaten 50 chicken nuggets at least one of those Fridays.

When we were having parties we used to have two or three or more people go use their meal punches to get an entire container brimming with nuggets each so we'd have food for the party. Those containers must have held 50 nuggets easily, maybe more like 60 or 70 at least.

Good times.

/now vaguely tempted to try eating 50 McNuggets, likely over the course of an entire day

Look if I wanted an amusing commentary from someone eating an unusual meal I'd go find the LA Beast's youtube channel, not some over the hill bro-hipster who thinks 2700 calories of fast food is some sort of achievement.

The first place they took me after being out of the United States was at a Popeye's near the airport. Arrived while a fight was going on in the back between a large-boned lady going off on some dude who called her child retarded or something. It was loud enough that we had to repeat our order three times to the poor distracted cashier. We had it take-out, and the fries weren't even well seasoned as I remembered their Cajun fries to be.

Welcome back to America.

I have eaten nuggets on occasion. Wendy's and BK have a chicken-like quality that is breaded. They used to be advertized as whole pieces of chickn. McNuggets have a different texture altogether. There is no breading, just a fried coating. Also, they smell like popcorn. I do not like McNuggets.

I just tried their nuggets today, for lunch. I had to drive from the office, past a McDonald's, and through five more minutes or traffic each way to get to the BK. The nuggets were crap. Cheap, but crap. It's like Little Caesar's pizza. It's pretty good for a $5 pizza, but not very good vis-a-vis pizza in general.

Twice a month I almost knock out a 8 pc. meal from Popeyes. The chicken and large side is not a problem but I cannot eat 4 biscuits.
That amount of biscuits is not healthy.

The local high school sells a card that gives all types of discounts. I figure if those girls were willing to ignore the sex offender sign on the lawn the least I could do is help them out.

I don't generally do fast food fried chicken (although I do love some good hand-breaded strips out of a restaurant... but I actually didn't mind the chicken strips at Church's Chicken when I lived in Florida. For a quick meal, they certainly did in a pinch.

I have a confession.

I hate Chick-fil-a's company policies. Their homophobic stance makes my blood pressure spike. But their chicken is freakishly delicious. So I will occasionally eat their, but only when I have free food there. Or when someone else pays.

I could easily kill two twelve-packs of nuggets with Polynesian sauce without a second thought.

When I was stationed in Hawaii, I had a roommate who once, as an experiment for two whole weeks, ate nothing but white bread and French's mustard sandwiches. He claimed that eventually, it came out looking just like it did going in, only pureed. It didn't seem to faze him, as his regular dinner usually consisted of a six-pack of Pepsi and a dozen Kit-Kats.

the one near me has a few gay employees so I figure I'm helping them stay employed.  Surpsingly, 64 nuggets have less calories and fat than a large pizza, which I can also easily take down in a weekend, especially a football watching weekend.

One night during high school a friend of mine and I rode up to the local McDonald's drivethrough. (I say local, but our nearest McD's was a 30 minute drive into town.) We showed up 10 minutes before they closed because we were farking jerks and laughing amongst ourselves, ordered thirty McDouble's off the dollar menu. There was a pause from the speaker before the employee asked "Who is this?". We stood our ground and asked why that mattered, but for the fact that we were paying customers. "You'll have to come around and pay in advance", obviously concerned that we would order and then drive off.

So we pulled up to the first window to pay and we see a girl we know from school. "Oh, it's you. Are you farking kidding me?" and we handed her the cash with little shiathead grins.

How much spit do you think we ate that night, friends? I'll tell you how much. All of it.

That's not a challenge unless you're someone who's obsessed with talking about how you don't even EAT fast food, like, ever.

I remember this one dude in my shop back in the Marine Corps, weighed like 130 at 6'0" tall, gave us his dinner order: 2 20 piece nuggets and a double quarter pounder meal, large-sized (I THINK this was after they got rid of super sizes because of that stupid documentary). Dude was still trying to get others' leftovers afterwards.

Also, it'd probably be better if you were in the restaurant and you got them fresh.

Fresh McNuggets are pretty awesome.

As long as you eat them basically after they've JUUUUUUUST cooled down past the "will give you second-degree oil burns throughout your mouth" stage.
