When not paying golf, he's been busy lately. He's feckless, a micro manager that ignores race relations while imploring black people to kill cops. Anyway, we're in the business of appeasement now.

Deal with it.

Obama reiterated what he said the other day that the US believes NK responsible for the Sony cyberattack and that the US will respond proportionally at a time of his own choosing.

That he's not throwing out hows and whens doesn't mean he's not doing anything, Shiattmitter

Please. He knows it wasn't Best Korea.

I wonder how long they can keep this facade going ...

If we do, they will fire artillery back at Seoul and kill thousands maybe it escalates and they use a nuke and kill millions of our Korean and Japanese allies but at least we won't look weak.

That should take about five computers and twenty minutes.

To be fair, they did threaten a 9/11 style attack on American citizens

/Not saying we should bomb them

That would mean something if there was any intel that they were preparing to actually back that up. But there wasn't, so it was just words. NK has threatened to nuke countries before - crazy threats are kind of their thing.

Saying that they are going to kill American citizens is not something that can be ignored. These threats must be taken seriously. The fact that we miss warning signs from twitter posters about how they are gonna shoot up a school is proof enough that every threat must be taken seriously.

Ultimately, it might be for the better.  Certainly not in the short term, but... that place is... unspeakably wrong.  Seriously, you could find Somali pirates who would say "Well, thank god I don't live THERE."  Is it really a question of if or when?  Sooner or later, something's got to give.

cman: Saying that they are going to kill American citizens is not something that can be ignored.

I'm not saying you ignore it. But you weigh the threats with their ability to carry out those threats, whether there's any intel that there are any plans in the works, and the fact that most of the threats they've made for the past 60 years have been completely empty. You also consider that often times they WANT a reaction out of us. And you consider that we did jack shiat while they've starved their people to death, so it looks a little silly if we decide to throw down over a Seth Rogen movie.

Why should just the oil companies get the benefit of government action?

While the parent company, Sony, is Japanese, Sony Pictures is American and the movie was made by Americans.  This is on us.

Amiright? Plus you can't tell me a bunch of dumbshiat execs aren't doing business at home or in public coffeeshop hotspots on wide open networks. Hardly a security lapse regarding a multinational corporation that isn't even based in the US worth starting an international incident over.

I'd be fine with tossing a few cruise missiles around for the Target thing (I got hit twice by that).

How many dictators and terrorist leaders does Obama have to kill before people stop pretending like his foreign policy is soft?

What a coward. Only a pussy writes a strongly worded letter, while a MAN writes a sarcastic headline. A real president would go punch NK in the face, and so would I, but I am busy on the internet. Also I wouldn't want to leave my girlfriend. She lives in Canada, you wouldn't know her

Maybe we could send a comic book character over to kick Un in the balls? I hear Steve Rogers may be available (you know they'll fix his Super Soldier Serum issues sooner or later, as awesome as Sam Wilson is).

Too late. They collapsed like those magic hoses on infomercials and nobody should ever forgive them.

The United States has no problem invading other countries to secure profits for multi-nationals.

The only failure here is Sony not sending enough lobbyists to Washington to convince them.

Oh but it would only be temporary.
