Is it a metaphor for late capitalism? For Gamergate?

The second one. Definitely the second one.

If you're playing Where's Waldo, he's the guy in the red and white striped shirt with the two broken legs and herniated disk in the south/south-wester edge of the metal crowd-thresher video.

Looks like Roller Coaster Tycoon disaster play with better graphics.

On 3, you can build a pool with a changing room suspended over the pool, then delete the original changing room to get the people into the pool, close the pool, and all the peeps will "exit" and reenter the pool forever and ever.

Hey! Who found my Zombie Apocalypse Metal Bar Orbiting Nullification Interdictor? I was just about to file the patent!

I was expecting to see state fair footage...

On a more serious note, was that scripted animation or procedural AI directing the objects? The motion transitions were extremely fluid and "physics oriented", which suggests scripted animation, but the way some of them kept trying to "run" once knocked over suggests AI control. Either way, pretty well done.

To improve on the original video, Andy Baio created a version with a random soundtrack and screaming effects added. You can watch it here. It's a work of art.

I got "Footloose".

This is goddamn amazing.

Outstanding.

Subby does realize they aren't real people, right? Right?

2014-10-22 4:54:05 PM
They're all basically dressed like they just left a University of Wisconsin game at Camp Randall.  Guy must have gone to Minnesota.

In the fall of '82 the letters section of National Lampoon had a letter from John Landis that said "Sirs: please call them helicopters."

Not sure, but I would start using screen savers again if I could get this as a screen saver. The "running people" could pop or explode or dissolve after a short time in order to keep the processor requirements reasonable.

Oh, and "endlessly" apparently doesn't mean what you think it means, subby.

I just spent way too much time watching that.

None of you are real.  You're all distorted figments of my imagination.  I'd banish you but some of you amuse the voices in my head

I'm pretty sure today Subby's been kinda slow, judging from the derp-level of greenlights.

So I wasn't the only one that noticed him, good to know I'm not totally going nuts

Sadly, it's all CG.  We need a real life reenactment of this, but where to find the simulated mental capacity?  Maybe pregnant quiverfullers?  Also, bonus points for spontaneous babby eruptions!

Dude, this isn't CGI. This was filmed at the last U of M game.
