-1 for 20 click slide show. Did you really click 20 times and expect us to do the same?

There's a nice prominent link right above the "Begin Slideshow" button that says "Article View."

Wouldn't want to wear out your click finger.

It's a four pager, not a total slideshow. And Wheel of Fortune is already plenty scary, one faulty fire sprinkler from washing their Dorian Grey portraits.

Not seeing the link on mobile.
Ain't nobody got time for that.

...also, they gave Zoe Quinn a listicle. Clearly, they're in on the GamerGate conspiracy.

NOT Subby. My *ducks* was referring to the large number of horrible (often sponsored) cracked links.
But please, stab away! :D

What is the deal with the '-4,600'?

2014-09-18 8:40:49 AM
Cracked's propensity for putting everything on two pages was pretty annoying, but they just recently went back to their old ways of putting every item of a listicle on its own page. It's mind boggling that there's not more backlash in the comments, I mean some of these damn things have a hundred words per page.

It's especially disappointing since they just recently started doing the interview articles which are mostly pretty interesting. Yet even more annoying when trying to read something on there on a phone that's over the data cap for the month.

Only thing that makes any kind of logical sense is that Fark is threatened of being sued for copyright/trademark infringement for using the CNN logo without explicit written permission from CNN themselves.  Which is why this is the only tag that has been altered.  Until someone with authority says otherwise, I'm going to assume lawsuit/C&D.

It's what Wolf Blitzer wound up with on celebrity jeopardy, and Fark was told by CNN not to use their logo for links anymore, so they went with the Blitzer jab.

Well, at least going tot he nsfwallet website introduced me to the goats...I mean the TREW-grip "rear type" keyboard.

That name has to be intentional, right?  I mean, it almost seems like they just made this product to make a bunch of jokes like that.

The Zoe Quinn article yesterday was awesome.

Tons of butthurt in the comments. I couldn't resist feeding some of them.

Listen, just because some loser can't handle being dumped doesn't mean it's OK to harass and make death threats against some chick.

I'm really surprised that the whole Zoe Quinn business gets talked about anywhere other than among gamers.

Not because of the supposed ban on discussing it by certain websites, but because "OMG! Game journalism is corrupt!", like most people really care about gaming journalism.  Hell, I'd almost be surprised about the press it HAS gotten, but to my understanding, that's more the Streisand Effect than anything else.

A couple of observations:

NDT is way too smart to ever run for President.

In 20 years, there will be WAY more actors who have played the Doctor.  By my estimation, assuming they
change doctors an average of once every 2.5 years (as they have since the reboot of the series in 2005),
there will be 8 more Doctors (not counting stunt casting and half-Doctors like The War Doctor).

Is number 10 Jimmy Carr or Tom Cruise? Because, the profile of the face looks kind of like both, and the underlying joke is believable for both, albeit for wildly different reasons.

Furthermore, he is way too smart to win the Presidency. We like our politicians dumb and pandering over here.

I have to say that the articles on Cracked have really improved recently. Especially when they have articles written by someone who has experienced the topic. For example, this one is really good.

Cracked is one of the few "comedy" sites that I find, on the average, to be funny.  Worth the click --most-- times.

Today was not one of them.
