And then promptly disappeared again. It was the first time I'd watched MTV in years and years, and the commercials for the other MTV shows were grim. Beavis and Butthead watched a clip of Teen Mom, where the dumb shiat dad is playing video games w/ his bro, and they say "we're smarter than these dudes!" And they were right. Beavis and Butthead were Masterpiece Theater compared to what MTV has actually become. That is incredible.

Star Trek shouldn't either. TNG was a spinoff. Otherwise, they'd be including Cheers, Perfect Strangers, and Happy Days as shows that were cancelled and brought back.

Hell yes! Love the show. Captured the mysterious post-apocalypse small town vibe well.

Season 2 took a weird turn, lots of people loved it, lots of people despised it. But season 1 was fantastic.

I'd watch Veronica Mars instead. I recently did a rewatch of Jericho and the first season just seems slow now, and I still never bothered to finish season two.

Be aware Veronica Mars season three is not as good as the first two.

One day I hope to see Terriers on a list like this.

I view Jericho Season 2 in the same way I think of Serenity to Firefly; a way to wrap up the main plot in a shortened timeframe

It gets too character-developmenty sometimes, but overall it's a pretty satisfying series. It has a bit of a dumb ending though.

My wife loved Jericho - she said that the finale didn't wrap everything up to her satisfaction so be warned there but the show was one of her favorites when it was airing.

The original series cast was officially greenlit to come back to television and was in pre-production when Star Wars happened and Paramount wanted a movie instead. Star Trek is not under qualified for this category, it's overqualified: it became too valuable to merely pick up where it left off.

It gets too character-developmenty sometimes, but overall it's a pretty satisfying series. It has a bit of a dumb ending though.

I think that's mainly because it doesn't have an ending - season two (and thus the series since it wasn't renewed) ends on a huge cliff-hanger.

I think it's worth watching, and it may have done better if it had come out a few years later. It meanders a bit here and there, but season two picks up the speed of plot development a lot.

I have to say, I only started watching buffy recently (last year). It was insanely better than I was expecting and the last few seasons were ... outstanding to amazing at times.
Willow losing it and exploding? Some of the best ...
Willow and the gentle touch that her lesbian love story was handled? Unheard of.
Talk about perfect edits.
Dont get me started on the madness that was Anya.

Have you watched Angel? I know I'll get shiat for this but think Angel is better than Buffy. It had a rocky start (well, so did Buffy) but DAMN it got good after a while.
