Tag should definitely be for the crane operator. Don't antagonize the people writing your paycheck.

If he had a flag on his car and got fired for it Id be on his side
If he had a Bama flag flying from his crane I'd say he should be given a chance to take it off. If he kept flying it fire him.
But since he planted a Bama flag into the Texas A&M building like he was claiming it in the name of Bear Bryant? Fark him and send him down the road kicking rocks AND blackball him from ever operating a crane on Texas A&M property again. The boy is a complete dumbass and shouldn't be endangering innocent bystanders

At my current job they fired someone a week after I started, and all I knew of the guy was that he showed up late every day and said "they can fire me, I don't care.  fark these people."

Then he was shocked when they fired him. WTF?
