It's cleaner than the stuff they pump out of the ground?

We all drink recycled sewage water really.  It's not like water that comes from a well or from rain hasn't be drunk by someone or something before, then re-cycled by nature.

I actually just went to Stone Brewery in California last week. It was awesome. Their restaurant and gardens were gorgeous and the food was fantastic. The tour was short, but beer so good and the tour was only like $4 or something.

As for drinking pee... Well, I have no problem with us recycling our water. All those water molecules have been peed out by something already anyway. Wisely recycling resources is cool, IMHO.

In other news, the California Tourism Bureau has announced that it plans to focus its foreign marketing efforts entirely on Japan and Germany.

Don't forget that during allergy season the air is full of tree cum.

I know this is fark, but what the heck.

Hey Subby, can you please list one brewery that has closed in Ca and opened on the East coast?

As a resident of the Carolinas, I welcome Sierra Nevada, Oskar Blues, New Belgium - and hopefully Stone and/or Deschutes to the Asheville area.
Although I would prefer Charlotte for the latter breweries.

Thankfully, all the water in the Florida Aquifer is virgin and hath never traveled through intestines, kidneys or bladders. Unless some cave diver couldn't hold it.

I try to head out to Northern California once every other year to visit family, and it's hard not to lie about the time of my arrival in order to make it to Russian River first instead of going to their house.

Pliny didn't quite live up to the hype, but I could bathe in Consecration.

I often wonder where people think their sewer goes.

Once it''s processed by your local sewer treatment plant, it's dumped into a local lake or river, which will eventually makes it's way into the water treatment plant either in your town or the next one down river and be turned into drinking water.

Just think - right now, you are consuming water molecules that have been up Nancy Grace's cooch.

Seems unlikely it cycles that far that quickly.

More likely I've got Louis Brooks' juices in me somewhere.

I'm alright with that.

This.  If your muni gets its water from a river, there is pee in it.  Either it is from the bears, elk, birds and other critters that do their business in the water, or it is from the sewage treatment discharge pipe that is upstream from your muni's intake pipe.

One thing that really needs to be written into the building code for new houses is having toilets and landscape irrigation be on their own separate line to the street.  That way when the muni installs purple pipes in the street, you don't have to tear the house or driveway up.

I'm actually looking at buying a lot that is on a well and has a septic system.  One of the things I'll probably end up doing is having the drains from the showers, bathtubs and roof gutters run into a tank for non-potable water use.  The county gives a credit for doing it and it extends the life of your septic drain field.

There are about 18 breweries, a couple of distilleries, at least five hard cider makers and several dozen wineries in my county in California. I have have no idea what subby is talking about when he says "most of the good microbreweries have already moved east"

Methinks subby is confusion expansion with moving?

There are quite a few California breweries that have opened east coast brewing houses, just to make sure the east coast gets fresher beer. :)
