colinspooky: LOL, I, along with all Brits, 'pay' for the BBC with our license fees, but now it seems we in the UK are not allowed to see what the BBC is saying overseas. Companies owned by the people are funny.

Blame people like Murdoch and the Daily Mail. The BBC isn't allowed by law to use licence fee money overseas so must use advertising but then isn't allowed to use advertising within the UK so they can't let us see those sites. Thanks to people like Rupert and the DM the BBC had to slash its UK websites a few years ago because it was "unfair competition". Before then the UK site would buy lots of content from the overseas site to show in the UK but now they don't do anywhere near as much.
