John Buck 41: Hi sherp. Hang in there, buddy. Please send me an updated snail mail address asap, 'k? Sorry, I thought I already did - my PO Box will probably remain open for a little while longer (I'll know more about how long tomorrow)ArmednHammered:
Diocletian's Last Cabbage: I need 3 things for my Friday to be better: ... elephant pics, LOTS of elephant picsI lurve elephants. If I had time, I would find the pics of the one that CDK and MRS. CDK sent me a few years ago, but lacking that, have a pic of the white boy wondering what Easter is all about...
catmandu: My little court jester was at it again. I have a bag that I take to my water aerobics class with my suit, swimming cap, etc. including a net loofa thingy for the shower. Anyway, I got to the shower this afternoon and the big pink loofa was not in the bag. What WAS in the bag was a green sparkly cat toy ball. Didn't work very well as you can see by the size difference. I finally found my loofa under the bed. At least Hector tried to be nice and leave me a substitute.

sherpa18: ArmednHammered: Finally made it in, been out of town for a few days.Thank you all for the birthday wishes, much appreciated! And I think this will fit the thread theme pretty well! From the Long John Silvers hush puppy thread, still room for a few more!Note to self: When going out of town for several days, do not ever leave an empty re-fried bean can in the kitchen garbage.Dammit, there were a lot of versions of that .... I know I don't have the final one where I requested to have the white boy next to me (which did happen) ..... but here are the ones I do have...[i415.photobucket.com image 540x639] [i415.photobucket.com image 540x639] [i415.photobucket.com image 520x640] [i415.photobucket.com image 520x640]

Real Women Drink Akvavit: lilyspad: [i.imgur.com image 500x235]Some of my neighbors are lighting fireworks. Really? On Easter??? Did I miss a memo, or something???Easter bonfires are pretty common in some cultures and the fireworks are probably an extension of that. You got any Scandihoovians around you? They like fire quite a bit from what I've seen. The pre-Christian celebrations of this time of year always seemed to include fire and since Pagans just adopt words and phrases but keep traditions, which are then passed on to their children as "christian", well if you were a REAL Christian (or even just a cultural Christian like most Americans), you'd go burn something down or blow something up for Jesus!/you could do it for fun, too//allegedly[murlocparliament.com image 500x400]

Real Women Drink Akvavit: Hai! *frantic waving* I had my medicines adjusted and one changed on Purrsday and I am having the interesting dreams. I have done the sleepwalking before, too. My ex used a belt from one of my robes to tether one of my ankles to his so it would wake him up if I started wandering off in my sleep. The obstacle course arrangement did not work on me, because I navigated through it perfectly. Then I'd start baking or cooking dinner - in my sleep. We were afraid I'd burn the house down, not leave it. I don't know why I started sleepwalking in the first place, but I also seem to have stopped. I haven't done that in years even with the medications.
tigerose: Time for bed. Going to Early mas..8:30 a.m. Can't wait to dig my son out of bed. Anyone got a cattle prod?
VOCSL5: I love little LUNA!!! I took a couple videos of her in the sunlight (she's all black) attacking her toy: http://youtu.be/AP4vn-iRlqg and http://youtu.be/CC-dsWrX1OA. Happy Caturday everyone!!!!
Spiralmonkey: This is also for RWDA, a blast from the past but one I still find funny: Viking kitties
lilyspad: Real Women Drink Akvavit: These were not quiet farts, either. They were human sounding type farts.OMG!!!! That is hilarious! :D
syzygy whizz: tigerose: syzygy whizz So sorry to hear of your cat woes. I hope they get better soon. And in the mean time, take care of yourself. Thanks, tigerose...They did some bloodwork on Riktor...he'll be 12 in June and his weight is 7.7 (he used to weigh around 9 lbs). Bloodwork is within normal limits. Aside from abscess (which vet says I got cleaned out just fine), he's doing great. So how come I'm crying?
quantum_jellyroll: This whole Caturday is like one amazing underhand pitch!!!
