So I was driving down the road interstate one time with my mother and sister in our Ford windstar minivan, going about 65 mph, when a rather large badger started to cross the road just ahead.  Knowing that it was inevitable, I didn't swerve to miss it.  We went over it... thump... thump... both front and back tires, and I shiat you not...

That damn thing didn't miss a beat, just kept trucking right across the highway.


I think it probably died later of internal bleeding, but it looked unharmed, if not just slightly pissed off...

Also, I'm wondering about the animal's ribcage and whether or not it's super strong to be able to support/protect the internal organs in case of a tunnel collapse as they are primarily a burrowing animal...
