Ned Stark: Headline:WARgrbrgl.

Article: massed Russian troops are in Russia proper not Crimea, are only "estimated up to" 30,000, Russia has been pulling them back, and the NATO exercises are the same ones they've dome before except relocated from the place where Russia was mad about them being to a place they don't care about.

Don't wave your warboner around like that subby. You'll put someones eye out.

But who will feed the poor, Starving Warthogs?

svanmeter: In all likelihood the US will participate in this, and other new commitments such as the Central African Republic. Taft just made drastic cuts to the Military. Maybe he should rethink that?

Well we've got all these combat-hardened troops who won;t be hanging out in Afghanistan anymore, so I think President Taft will have no problem continuing Roosevelt's  Big Stick policy

I'm glad that article isn't an April Fool's joke. It's about time we did something to show we won't let Russia bully it's way around the former Soviet states.

Fred Thomspon would you like to weigh in on the advisability of having US and Russian troops conducting combat exercises in that close of a proximity?
