That's not really all that many tumbleweeds; I think it was last year a line of houses were nearly buried underneath the things. All you could see was the roof; they had piled up in front of the houses until even the second floor was buried.

/that was a lot of tumbleweeds
//you'd need a really big mulching mower to deal with those things

That was my first pyromaniacal thought.  The second one being "oops, those are wooden houses".

The fact that they're rolling around all over the place depositing their seeds everywhere is going to be an issue when the season comes for them to start growing, too.
Along with that field across the street that they corralled them into.
