Coconice: It does amaze me when people have more partners in a month (week?) than I've had in my 40 odd years.

It doesn't disgust me, but it does amaze me.

#1:  1990-1995
#2:  1995-1997
#3:  1997-1998
#4:  1998
#3b: 1998-1999
#2b:  1999-Present

If I am going to try to keep this symmetrical, do I have to aim for a #1b at some point?

It's not that amazing.  If you're the kind of person that prioritizes sex over being with someone you can enjoy spending your time with, singles bars/clubs + hit on everything that moves + keeping yourself looking good is all it takes.  I just personally don't think that'd lead me to a very satisfying life, so I don't.

OK.  I bothered to calculate my magic number with the formula that was in TFA.

How can "age of people" not be a factor.

I'm happily married, but if my magic number is right, I will live to be at least 115.
