NobleHam: I don't do British pancakes or fancy pancakes, but this recipe's perfect:Mix:1&1/2 cups flour1 tsp salt3 Tbsp sugar1&3/4 tsp baking powderSeparate two eggs. Beat egg whites til stiff and set aside. Beat yolks and add to 8-10 oz milk. Add milk+yolks and 3 Tbsp melted butter to dry mix and blend together. Lastly, stir in the egg whites.Then cook. Flip when bubbly.

Gothnet: Sugar and lemon. Works really rather well. Of course our pancakes are a lot wider and flatter than americans. Much more towards a French-style crepe than a think, spongy american pancake.
