I'm never amazed by the number of people who fall for this everyday. 

CSB. I was in a store a few years ago where we had an older gentleman fall for this. They told him he had won the lottery. All he needed to do was to send them $2K in Greendot cards and they would come out, award him his money, and put his pic in the paper. Of course we know it's a scam. Try telling the guy that multiple times. He just starts screaming how us "youngins" are trying to keep him from being happy. The next day his daughter shows up. She's grateful we tried to stop her dad. Of course it was a scam. Her dad had spent 2 hours yelling at her for her telling him not go through with it. We felt bad for him, being out the money. He didn't give a shiat. He was furious though he had gotten dressed in his Sunday best and no-one was coming to take his picture for the paper.
