I thought Republicans were all about personal liberty and limited government - shouldn't they be repealing these laws now? Or is Texas not conservative enough yet?

nah. Kansas will be the last one.

we've never ratified the 21st amendment, we still have dry counties, public bars were illegal until 1987, and you still cant buy alcohol in most of the state on Sundays.

all this and more, and people will still talk about "getting big government out of our lives" without so much as a smirk.
