What the hell is up with these pics of round pizzas cut into squares? That is not okay. You have pieces without a crust to hold, you monsters!

Nothing better than Jews and WASPS telling a guy with the last name "de Blasio" how he's "supposed" to eat Italian food.

StreetlightInTheGhetto: Especially if it's loaded with toppings and the cheese + toppings are liable to slide off.

That's the best time not to use a fork. Taco that shiat.

Mrtraveler01: Seriously though, I live in St. Louis and never got the thin crust thing, but this is some of the best pizza I've ever had.

That's not a pizza.  Its a casserole.

MrHappyRotter: So let me get this straight.  When a poor person has dinner with classy folks, and God forbid, uses a salad fork to shovel his entree down his gullet, it's considered bad manners to look away in disgust or even mention the absurdity of it because the poor person doesn't know any better.  But when a classy person raised in an area where people do things one way, but himself does them another, refuses to lower himself to the slop bucket and eat his food with his bare hands, it's perfectly okay pretty common for the people to make a fuss over it.

Got that?

/and, yes, making fun of those less-fortunate or -educated than yourself is poor manners; low-hanging fruit and all that

So, if I changed my name to "Silverstein" I could claim to be more of an authority of Jewish customs than the average American?

"De Blasio" was born Warren Wilhelm, Jr.

You want Italian? His mother's parents.

And pizza, as it is made in NY (and certainly by Goodfella's), is only slightly more Italian than fortune cookies are Chinese.

New Yorkers are the biggest babies when it comes to their pizza.

Nobody cares. Get over it.

I've eaten pizza with a fork and knife (in Jersey, no less) if it's steaming freaking hot just out of the oven.  Especially if it's loaded with toppings and the cheese + toppings are liable to slide off.  I'll usually move to hands by the time I get halfway through / to the crust / the next slice.

Also if I'm doing something where, sorry, I just don't want grease on my hands.  Working through lunch = good example.
