I submitted this item as an example of how NOT to represent data. The ironic thing is, it was pointed to by a site purporting to advise on "visual representation of data".

The way this site uses differently-sized circles to show traffic just turns my stomach. Could they have come up with a WORSE way to indicate the data!? What''s wrong with using color (red = lots, blue = not much)?

Somebody save us from the experts.
