Shadi: Just another Heartland Weirdass: Neither I, nor this company, are interested in your problems

this. you should have taken an earlier train instead of cutting it so close.

For many of us, the earlier train is 30-60 minutes earlier. Not the subway, obviously. it's impractical to get to work an hour before you need to in order not to be 15 minutes late once a month.

Did he ever return,
No he never returned
And his fate is still unlearned
He may ride forever
'neath the streets of Boston
He's the man who never returned.

Karma Chameleon: Just because people decide for whatever reason to live way the F out in Springfield or Court House or wherever doesn't mean they should get a free pass for being late.

They have to live out there in Outer Buttfark because your company pays garbage can wages and most of them couldn't afford to live any closer to the business district.

This really seems absurd. If you manage people that use mass transit, you have to acknowledge that they may be late, due to issues with the trains/buses/etc. occansionally. If lateness is a chronic issue, the employee needs to get an earlier train/bus/etc. or chenge their schedule to start later.

21 days to get one of these notes. Gee, that is efficient.

Dearest Robert:

Neither I, nor this company, are interested in your problems. We are interested in solutions. You have until 1400 to clear out our locker and surrender our keys. You are trespassing thereafter.
