There's more to science than making a mess in slow motion. Admittedly that is a big part of science but it doesn't count unless you're wearing a labcoat and taking notes.

Pretty cool watching the layers mix and the splashing. Reminded me of miniatures used in old movies.

2000 frames per second is "faster" than most of the really cool slow-motion stuff.

2000  feet per second, which is what I was imagining, would be cool. Like, maybe you shoot the cream into the coffee from specially modified shotgun shells. I'd watch that.

/Especially if you filmed it at 2000 frames per second.

Freeze the cream hope that the shot and air friction heats it to liquid stage and then ruin every shot when the wad knocks the mug over.

That's what made it less interesting, too. If they didn't shoot the creamer through a Super Soaker™ we could have watched the swirling patterns.

Nah, what you do is this:

After you put milk/creamer into your cup of coffee you put an ice cube into the coffee and look down through the ice into the coffee. Watch the show.
