Diogenes: Well duh.  Did you think it would be TVs?  They limit the deals on the good stuff.  That's the point of that stupid day.

FTFA - The retailer announced it had sold 2.8 million towels during the shopping event, ... 2 million televisions sold during the period.

So they sold $5.6 million in towels and at least something like $200-400 million in TVs.  But the article is on how towels are the most popular.

I don't understand this.  You're shipping it, why put anything in the box?  It's not like the difference between picking it up off the doorstep and realizing it's an empty box and opening it to find it stuffed with towels is a different kind of disappointment.

Save the towels and the extra shipping charge.

You're thinking of eBay. Most Craigslist deals are done locally, in person, with cash in hand.
