Honestly, the non-story of the year.
2004-01-22 4:07:25 PM
Danceable Dean?
2004-01-22 4:20:08 PM
I wish Fark would ban links where you need Real Player or some other streaming media player, just as sites that require registration are banned.

Does anyone have links to these songs as MP3 files?
2004-01-22 4:25:55 PM
"...then we're going to Fark! and then to TotalFark! and then right into Drew's bedroom! Yeaaagghhhh!"
2004-01-22 4:40:30 PM
I don't really get it, either, Craphola.

The media likes to build 'em up, build 'em up, just to tear 'em down, tear 'em down..
2004-01-22 4:46:05 PM

This is the ministry style remix:
2004-01-22 4:49:55 PM
downstairs, get "Real Alternative" You can find it out on google if you dig a little. It has none of the syware/adware shiat.
2004-01-22 4:50:48 PM
oh geez i found more on accident:

Funky Remix

Goes nuts remix:

/this really isn't that funny
2004-01-22 5:05:37 PM
It's a story. He's finished and we got to watch him crumble right before our eyes.
2004-01-22 5:12:43 PM
Anyone able to find the Howard Stern remix with the AC/DC and Hotel California mixes? It was the only funny one I've heard.
2004-01-22 5:12:57 PM
I'm aware that he is completely finished, earthrhino. I just don't have a clue as to why. Because he made a primal, shrill yell? Perhaps, he should take a few tranquilizers and act like Kerry. I just can't believe that this batch is the best the Democrates have to offer. Half the country hates (and I do mean hates) Bush and he's still going to beat this squadron of shiat.

Politics is driving me crazier by the day. Has anyone seen this ( een_as_extensive/) story yet. Arrrggghhhh!!!!

Nuke Gatchina! Then Khabarovsk! I'm aiming for Novgorod! And Norilsk! We're going to Kaliningrad! We're going to Chernogolovka! They're gonna feel us in Dzerzhinsk! In Taganrog! And after that, we're flying our brids right into Moscow! YEAAAHHHGGGHH!!

That's why, Funsucker
2004-01-22 6:21:57 PM
This is a brid, BTW.
[image from too old to be available]
So, you can see why we're concerned.

Evilcamel, the Howard Stern ones were great.
For those who didn't hear it, he played a mix of songs that mention states in it. Whenever the state name came up, it was replaced with Dean screaming the name.
2004-01-22 8:35:04 PM
I just downloaded the Howard Stern medley from Kazaa. It's great. Just search "howard dean stern"
2004-01-22 8:37:32 PM
The "Crazy Train" one is pretty decent too. Also on Kazaa.
2004-01-22 10:01:11 PM
The guy shows some excitement and some energy and everyone thinks he's crazy.

/don't understand american american media
2004-01-22 10:02:05 PM
Dem Ocrats are all funny in their own way, this is just one example.
2004-01-22 10:02:07 PM
2004-01-22 10:02:15 PM
I'm never going to live this down.
2004-01-22 10:03:04 PM
"Requested file not found" when trying to hear the audio.

2004-01-22 10:07:37 PM
It's got a good screech, and you can dance to it.
2004-01-22 10:08:59 PM
op Ten reasons to scream after the Iowa caucus.

10. Just found out I'll be campaigning with Paris Hilton.

9. Thought Lil Kim was in the house.

8. Just a back woods yodel gone horribly wrong.

7. You'd scream to if you saw Kerry's healthcare plan.

6. Like you've never tried to jumpstart a car in front of 3500 people

5. Al Sharpton is not the only one who can do James Brown.

4. A simple hog calling flashback.

3. Excited about the Patriots and Panthers in the Super Bowl.

2. Them electric cattle prods is tricky.

1. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.
2004-01-22 10:09:00 PM
Man did that guy make an ass of himself....

To his credit, he did secure himself the WWF vote....

To his detriment, targetting 14 year olds who can't vote might not be the smart....

2004-01-22 10:09:04 PM
I can't believe it took one friggin day to turn the would-be-president into a washed-up has been.

As a republican, I'm dissapointed we won't be able to slam Dean anymore - it was just too easy. Crossing my fingers for Clark now.

John Kerry's war record is commendable, from any point of view, and he's going to be tougher to harp on.

If Clark wins, Dubya will just run Clark's endorsements as campaign ads. "We are very fortunate to have George W. Bush as our president" - Clark
2004-01-22 10:12:13 PM
someone be my hero and post the howard dean stern remix.

these other remixes are sub-par.
2004-01-22 10:12:28 PM
Let me know when KMFDM makes a remix. I love what they did with Bush on WWIII.
2004-01-22 10:12:50 PM
I think that this qualifies as a story. Cause you know what the general public (who are primarily moderates) think?

They think he's a nut.

I think that he'll lose and that it will be attributed to his piratesque display in Iowa.
2004-01-22 10:14:00 PM
Am I the only one who doesn't see what the big deal is? I've seen a video of Dean's supposed "freak out" and he just seemed like he was trying to get the crowd going. He was smiling and laughing the whole time for crissakes. I'm not a Dean supporter or anything, I just don't see what the silly fuss is about.
2004-01-22 10:14:02 PM
does anyone have the original clip? Can't seem to find it anywhere..
2004-01-22 10:14:39 PM
Old news. Read an arty like this this morning. Already downloaded them. They're are F-U-N-N-Y!

If I were one of the Dems, I would be smart and go for Lieberman. He's probably the only Democrat I like and the only one who has a bit of leadership-quality wisdom/experience. I'd still be happy if Bush lost to Lieberman.

And, yes, Dean people do suck. (Well, maybe not as a person... I'd probably be thought of as one at a glance before someone really talked to me.)
2004-01-22 10:15:09 PM
I'm not a Dean fan, but I seriously don't see the big deal.

I guess he woke everyone up that fell asleep listening to the other candidates.
2004-01-22 10:16:14 PM
Oh, it should be THEY ARE.

/Sorry, having an off-day, sounding incoherent all damn day.
2004-01-22 10:16:18 PM
So, one guy is finally excited, as opposed to all the sad-sack boredom monsters we usually get, and everyone thinks he's a total retard? I thought it was refreshing to at least see someone who seemed to care.

I haven't decided yet who I like for the election, but I liked to see him be so passionate. It was cool. And funny. But mostly cool.
2004-01-22 10:17:32 PM
Have to download Realplayer?

I'd rather mung Anne Miller...but who wouldn't?
2004-01-22 10:18:07 PM
To all looking for the mixes you heard on Howard Stern, they are available here:

They're by a guy called Song Parody Man. Good times.
2004-01-22 10:18:59 PM
Deans speech was the WWE geography lesson
2004-01-22 10:20:16 PM
I love it, it's the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

2004-01-22 10:20:28 PM
I don't use RealAnything. It all sucks and the data-mine the hell out of your computer.
2004-01-22 10:20:48 PM
Poor Dean. He definitely did not make himself look "presidential," as the media keeps stating it. On the other hand, the current president makes a complete and utter ass of himself and our country every time he parts his retarded lips. Which one is worse?
2004-01-22 10:24:18 PM
i honestly dont understand FARK at half the threads people are complaining that there's "too much bush" and in the other half they are trying to get more Bush.
2004-01-22 10:25:35 PM mean half the people like Bush...and half the people don't...

Check out:,2933,108916,00.html

on the right side of the screen, it's the first video under the Related Video section. It's got his entire speech (notice how much the colour in his face changes)

2004-01-22 10:28:23 PM

your link requires you to register also, anyone have howard stern clips that link directly to the mp3 file?
2004-01-22 10:28:48 PM

I don't think anyone on Fark has ever been opposed to getting more bush....I certainly haven't been.

Yeah, he sounds like a farking fascist.

Politics turns everyone into sheep. If Bush had yelled like Dean did, the Bush-haters would have compared him to Hitler. I agree that I don't see Dean's yelling as a big deal, but it can't be denied it's turned off some voters. And yeah, I can't explain why. I agree that we should be looking more closely at people's policies. But remember, we live at a time where people get votes more because of what they look like or even what their name sounds like (which is one of many reasons why Dennis Kussininininianiach is unelectable as president.

PS- if anyone's having a problem with the link I posted earlier, I apologize. I can't really get it to work either without having to register for some forum. Fark 'em.
