The olympics are awesome, it would be nice to go.  But we don't need more debt and we certainly can't have an Olympic Committee or Olympic judges around here competing with our existing corruption.  Take that shiat to Chicago or DC.

As a resident now, how about no? Seriously, just keep having places in Maine or Vermont host the occasional winter games and I'll happily head up for a weekend, but actually in the city? fark that noise.

Why don't they just pick some place in Nebraska or las pampas.

Build an olympics city and host the olympics there every time.  They can do all of the stupid world championships there too.

It's more of a question of whether the Legislature collectively has enough nephews who run contracting companies to get paid even after the IOC and its wheelbarrow are sated

why not make it a New England olympics?  probably have enough facilities in the region already.
