Sounds like he wasn't charged with any felonies. The Assaulting a Police Officer is a 3rd degree charge, so he might not face prison then, unless they push that to something higher.  Since he has prior violent offences, the state sentencing guidelines would put him back for a while, if he were charged with a violent felony, say Assault 2.  District courts have wide discretion on how to sentence someone, which is a jail thing.  County jail and state prisons are two different systems and going into the state system is a big messy affair.  At any rate, I'm a former WA state Parole Officer, so my advise to Dave is plead guilty, pay a lot of money in fines, fix the police cars, and do 2 years deferred and take anger management, join a support group (cuz he's gonna need it) and follow any mental health assessments.  He has shown in the past that he is functional and (we hope) remorseful of his prior crimes.  Good luck Dave, keep your crap together.  Lead by example.

meat0918: Phil Clinton: Have only eaten Dave's bread for the past year now so I"m not getting a kick...

/this better not halt production on product
//free Dave!!!

They won't.

I've only bought the Sin Dawg on occasion as a treat.  $5 for a regular loaf of bread ($6-$8 if you order it from his website)?  Pass.

//It's just bread.

The answer to this, as it is most things, is Costco.  I'm pissed that it doesn't appear to be in the Costco's out here in SLC though.  I have to hit up Winco to get it, and those are in far-flung suburban Mormon-mexican hell.
