Jesus f*cking Christ. There was outrage over one of these situations a while back when it turned out that the doctor had performed one colonoscopy on the patient. But this one is  obscene:

"1. Eckert's abdominal area was x-rayed; no narcotics were found.
2. Doctors then performed an exam of Eckert's anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.
3. Doctors performed a second exam of Eckert's anus with their fingers; no narcotics were found.
4. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema.  Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers.  Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool.  No narcotics were found.
5. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a second time.  Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers.  Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool.  No narcotics were found.
6. Doctors penetrated Eckert's anus to insert an enema a third time.  Eckert was forced to defecate in front of doctors and police officers.  Eckert watched as doctors searched his stool.  No narcotics were found.
7. Doctors then x-rayed Eckert again; no narcotics were found.
8. Doctors prepared Eckert for surgery, sedated him, and then performed a colonoscopy where a scope with a camera was inserted into Eckert's anus, rectum, colon, and large intestines.  No narcotics were found. "

I hope the doctors get sanctioned, the police officers lose their jobs, the judge gets sanctioned, and Eckert wins a few million from the police and the hospital. It was illegal in every single sense of the word (warrant was overbroad, there was no probable cause, the search warrant only covered actions taken in a different county, the search warrant expired  before the medical procedures began).

Yeah these police need to be put in jail. The doctors needs to be sanctioned heavily, at the very least, if not suspended from practicing for a bit. Not sure what to do with the judge, so someone else can chime in here.

This guy is going to have a nice settlement to live off of, but something this grossly idiotic never should have happened in the first place.

Don't forget that Eckert will be looking at ballpark of $10,000 in medical bills for all of this.

Talk about taking it up the ass...

"Eckert's attorney, Shannon Kennedy, said in an interview with KOB that after law enforcement asked him to step out of the vehicle, he appeared to be clenching his buttocks. Law enforcement thought that was probable cause to suspect that Eckert was hiding narcotics in his anal cavity. "

What if the dude has hemorrhoids? Had diarrhea? A medical condition?

Unfortunately it's the citizens who will be paying off the plaintiff either way, but it would be nice if everyone from the cops involved and the doctors were held personally liable.

If I was this guy I would devote my life to the pursuit of the cops, the judge that issued the warrant, the hospital, and the doctors. I would spend as much as I could afford on lawyers, reach out to the press, contact the ACLU, and anything else I could think of.

David Eckert is suing The City of Deming and Deming Police Officers Bobby Orosco, Robert Chavez and Officer Hernandez.
Eckert is also suing Hidalgo County Hidalgo County Deputies David Arredondo, Robert Rodriguez and Patrick Green.
Eckert is also suing Deputy District Attorney Daniel Dougherty and the Gila Regional Medical Center including Robert Wilcox, M.D and Okay Odocha, M.D.

Not so sure about that. The doctors did it against his will and without a proper warrant to compel him. If I was the victim I would talking to a lawyer and the ACLU about pressing rape charges against the doctors and conspiracy to commit rape charges against the cops. That ought to get their attention.

This country hasnt been free in a long long time.  Cop will be promoted and all lawsuits will be thrown out.  Guy who got raped (spade a spade) will be in prison on trumped up charges within a year.

If this country were a person, the rest of the world would be staging an intervention. Or at least they would if we had friends instead of paid lackeys.

People may not like these searches, but think what would happen if they neglected to do their due diligence? There would be people out there getting high. So what if someone's constitutional rights are violated, or they lose all dignity in the process, we can all agree that whatever the cost people must not get high.
