I have no idea if they were bad or not, I didn't watch them any more than I still watch the VMAs.  That being said, I can pick just about any subject and find a hundred twits deriding it.  I'm never really sure what the point of that sort of story is.  It's the internet, it breeds discontent.

The whole concept of the youtube award was flawed from the beginning. When only one of your youtube artists of the year nominees is solely producing content for youtube (Epic Rap Battles of History), it's basically just an even worse version of the VMAs. It would have been more interesting to see other people get nominated and not just pop stars who post stuff on youtube.
