(Uproxx)   You might just think you're sick of Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up," but that's only because you've never heard it sung completely in Klingon. We can fix that   ( uproxx.com) divider line

I kind of want to hear Christopher Lee sing the song in Klingon now.

TheDirtyNacho: This makes sense.  Klingons are renown for their love poetry.

Just great.  Now the next step is to hear it in Vogon, a species also known for their poetry.

KarmicDisaster: in the original Klingon.

Is it more or less geeky of me, that my first reaction was "I'd love to see this done with a better singer and better production values"?

Not that the guy singing is horrible, but... I'd really like it if Astley himself learned the words in Klingon and sang it for us.

That could've been so much better if he just sounded more like a Klingon.

Instead it just sounded like some bad singer from Dubai or something.

serial_crusher: So what's the deal with the Starfleet guy?  He's tending bar for a bunch of Klingons, in uniform for some reason, but he doesn't have a comm badge or rank insignia.
I guess maybe the Klingons kidnapped him and are forcing him to be their bartender, but he seems a little too happy about it.  Maybe he's AWOL?

He's clearly former Star Fleet turned Maquis teaming up with the Klingons against the Cardassians.
