Mikey1969: super_grass: If they can mine without kicking enough asbestos up into the air to cause problems, all the more power to them.

Doubt this is going to be the case though.

Pretty much came here to say this... "Asbestos" is like "radiation". People use it all of the time without knowing what the words really mean. I agree that it will be tough, but it's not quite what the headline is making it out to be.

they hid that it existed and tried to get a bill passed that would make it much harder for those suffering from asbestos to get access to funds setup for them. This is not an oversight, this is malice and they got caught. They never had an intention of doing this in a safe way

Bob Seitz, a spokesman for Gogebic Taconite, said Tuesday there are ways to address the release of any asbestos during the mining process, where rocks are crushed and the iron ore extracted with magnets. He says it could as simple as using water to control dust at the site.

Me:  But then what would you do with the asbestos-contaminated water?
Bob Seitz:  *drops smoke bomb*

SilentStrider: It's just cancer, get over it libs.

If you were truly a Christian then you'd be rich and wouldn't have to do (shudder) manual labor to survive.

Accept your divine mesothelioma, peasant.
