College degree and seven years of experience, and I'm 10k under the national median. Who knew that working for a newspaper in Indiana wouldn't get me where I should be?

5 years of college gaining two BA's, 3 years of law school, and 5 years of experience later and I'm a hair over $6k above the median.

My wife has 4 college, 2 for an MA, 3 for a JD, and 6 of experience and is unemployed.

So there's that.
