maram500: If he can bankrupt what is essentially a licence to print money, let's see how good he'll be at running a state government.

It's hard for me to believe that even someone as farking stupid as Trump could accidentally bankrupt 3 casinos.

Occam tells me that it went a little more like this.

1. Steal all of the money
2. Declare bankruptcy and stiff all of your creditors.
3. Launder, rinse, repeat.

This tells me a couple things: New York Republicans have no viable candidate for governor. And their opinion of Trump is WAY out of step with what most people think about him. They think he's Arnold Schwarzenegger, while most people think he's Paris Hilton.

Incontinent_dog_and_monkey_rodeo: Trump would flat out suck as a politician, he's no glad-hander.  Politicians have to be tactful, for the most part.  Trump wouldn't have patience for any of that crap.

And he seems thin-skinned as hell and can't handle the mildest criticism. I mean, look at the way he dealt with getting ripped at the White House Correspondent's Dinner a couple of years ago. A politician has to be better at dealing with that sort of thing than that.

Headso: He kindaseems like a joke,

"Kindaseems"?  I thought for sure this was going to link to an Onion article.

But no, the Republican party is even greater satire than the Onion!

Getting disowned by the Republican party.... wow...that's gotta hurt. He deserves it.
