Mr. Right: Tellingthem: skin-so-soft...has to be. Yep. I always wondered why people started using that as a bug repellant. I knew people who swore by it. It never seemed to work for me.I used to allow a few people to board horses at my farm. Not sure how it started, either, but skin-so-soft was the bug repellent of choice for most of them. They'd spray the horse with some noxious chemical or other but then use the skin-so-soft on the horse's head and especially the ears - just lathered it on. All summer long my horse barn smelled like a ladies aid meeting at the Baptist church.
