Anyone knows the actual start time?  Looks like the pre-race is going to be extra long, but haven't found the true race start time anywhere.

Start is delayed until they find a large enough emery board to fine tune the bumps.

I'm not a fan of the Indy roval, but I have many, MANY reasons for that. I think the road course race will suck for this car.

I'm not a fan either, but they are using this to make changes to the track for both Indycar and MotoGP. Someone on /r/indycar of the Reddits made a gif of the changes.

So at least there's that.

I'm willing to reserve judgment until we actually get the cars out there.  The series/IMS is taking an interesting approach by stating this new race is a springboard for the month of May while severely limiting seating to what looks like 40K or so.  Stand E in Turn 1 will be open as will most of the 4th Turn.  They are really pushing the general admission seating on existing and new spectator mounds.

One of the reasons I hate the Indy roval is MotoGP. The USA is being reduced to two MotoGP events and they made the decisions which ones to keep on who could pay the most. COTA has millions of dollars per year of state tax breaks and Indy getting 40 million in guaranteed loans kinda leaves a non-profit track in a cash strapped state out in the cold. I'm really hoping for some good news on the 2015 schedule, because 2014 is not going to be the best year for Seca.

Nothing streaming at work. Can't load any protection into these computers for some damned reason.

It sucks for next year, we have World Superbikes (which was freaking amazing last week), the reunion which is a huge cash cow for us and always fun, Ferrari racing days (a glorified club weekend, but good revenue as there is no sanctioning fee), USCC, should be good and the SCCA Runoffs. There has been some serious talk about Indycar coming here for 2015. And I've heard rumors about NASCAR Trucks. My dream schedule is MotoGP, WSBK, USCC, Indycar, Reunion, Trucks, and hell, Formula E in no particular order.

Trying to follow this race between Fark and Twitter.

I'm told the early indication on Hinchcliffe was a clutch issue. Part electrical/part mechanical.
