StrikitRich: It's a weak tropical storm, a rainmaker more than a wind hazard.  I doubt that the oil rigs will even shut down.

Of course they are gonna shut down. It's the perfect excuse to raise prices for a while.

We've seen how FEMA works while funded. If anyone can tell the difference it will be from the improvement.

Too bad the democrat party rejects any funding bill that doesn't include the very unpopular Obamacare.

The GOP passes funding for veteran's benefits or parks or cancer research, and each are voted down by democrats because they don't also include Obamacare.

If the dems can't have their takeover of 20% of the economy, they refuse to allow any government.  The low infos and some of the press say this is the GOP's fault, and that's really ok.  Whole lot of brawndo drinking out there.

FEMA is useless anyway.  we saw that with NOLA and with NJ.  Maybe this time people will learn they cannot depend on a federal government that has been taken over for vote buying schemes.

That is how God tells the Bible Belt that He thinks they're a bunch of assholes, too.

super_grass: I'll be glad to see those red state retards suffer, I already emailed my rep about withholding aid to red state districts with representatives who enabled the shutdown.

Yeah, because that's exactly how a democratic republic works.   You should run for Congress.

cman: Newsflash worthy?

Well, Neil Armstrong's death didn't get that, and yet a storm that might just turn into a bigger storm that might just make landfall is deserving of such?

Neil Armstrong died last year. Let it go, man.

It's gonna be kind of hard for a hurricane to hit Montana.
