styckx: swaniefrmreddeer: has travelled across the U.S. reminding people of the tragedy that took place on 9/11/2001That's good, I almost forgot about 9/11 myself. What's a 9/11?
southpawtn: Let me call a buddy. He's an expert in 9/11 airbrushed Nova's.
Notabunny: Whatthefark: I'd rather have the '66 Nova in the sidebar.Yeah, '66 and '67 were the best. But I've always been nostalgic for a '69-'70. They're so approachable and blue-collar. My favorite combination is a '70 in dark green with a black vinyl top, black interior, 15x8 rallies in the back and 14x8s up front. Throw in a moderate 350 - 4spd combination, or (as long as I'm day dreaming) a moderate 383 - 5spd combo with 4-wheel disc brakes and a 4:11 posi out back, and I'd be happy to spend my days rubbing on the Turtle Wax, blasting some Bruce Springstieen on the Rockford Fosgate, and smoking the radial T/As. Good times. If you like, there's a fridge there inside the garage. Grab what you like. Bottle opener's on top.
Godscrack: On a 1975 Nova no less.No va = 'Won't go'.
Quantum Apostrophe: hardinparamedic: [media.salon.com image 700x396]That's hilarious. I'm going to miss you when you colonize Mars.
padraig: If you put the face of Saddam Hussein on your tacky "art car", then you are an ignorant, and not qualified to educate anyone.
styckx: I love the cardboard box that looks like it was just pulled out of grandma's attic in the trunk.[i.imgur.com image 699x394]
bump: /Would much rather have the black '72 in the classified ad next to it.This.Those Novas are tanks. I drove one from Memphis to Aspen in 2 days and it was a transportation god.

THX 1138: In the 38 years that car's been around, how many thousands of gallons of Saudi oil do you suppose it's burned?
slimfast: I had a Nova once. It blew up.
abhorrent1: I remember 9/11. And right after where everyone was pretending to be all patriotic for like a week. Good times
HMS_Blinkin: nekom: It's like, how much more tacky could it be? And the answer is none. None more tacky.I dunno, are there fuzzy dice on the rearview mirror? Because those can always make any car more tacky.
Dawnrazor: styckx: I love the cardboard box that looks like it was just pulled out of grandma's attic in the trunk.[i.imgur.com image 699x394]Is that the actual Nova in question? If so, why is there a gorilla's face on the trunk lid, and what's the deal with the Big Daddy behind the rear wheel? I don't recall seeing either on 9/11.
DjangoStonereaver: kindms: DjangoStonereaver: This guy:[www.outsidethebeltway.com image 489x371]Bids 40M Reichsmarks...er..... 20M Dollars!Hilarious it is parked in a handicapped spot.Holy crap.I hadn't noticed that.
AndEhBus: Does this guy realize someone could commission the same exact artist to duplicate the same painting for a few thousand dollars?
alltim: I prefer this tribute, NSFW, probably:http://www.glennandersen.com/my_van/van-pics/van-rear-pix/3974-autom ot ive%20%20airbrush%20art_3.jpg
Sybarite: I like how he painted Saddam Hussein right next to OBL near the front.
nekom: It's like, how much more tacky could it be? And the answer is none. None more tacky.
