You realize that NDSU is a Div I school? Div II is where they came from. Div I is FBS + FCS.

Not only that but NDSU is a repeat National Championship team, beat the last 4 FBS schools they have played, have a 7-2 record against FBS teams, and would be ranked #54 if they were in the FBS....better than over half of the current FBS teams. How is that for 'not relevant'? Las Vegas is putting odds up that 'Bama would beat NDSU today by 32 1/2 points if they played....and has 'Bama beating Colorado by 39 points.

of course it was, but the point is it is a Pac-12 matchup. that joke would make sense with the ASU / ND matchup in a few weeks or any other non-Pac12 opponent.

i didn't read the story, but locally (Phoenix) there was an article that said ESPN going to NDSU is a snub to the Pac 12, as arguably Stanford / ASU is the best matchup. and on the radio i half-heard someone talking about, saying hte Pac-12 networks are in bed with Dish Network, not DirecTV, and somehow (I GUESS?) DirectTV and ESPN are in cahoots?

it sounded weird but yeah, short version: Pac 12 is butthurt.

Perhaps he is just upset that GameDay passed over his favorite school (or runner up school) and feels it sullies GameDay's rep by going to anything outside the FBS? I mean, the only football worth watching is in the FBS...or high school football if you are in Texas, right? GameDay is only supposed to cover REAL college football which means only going to FBS schools so I have a feeling another comment he will make will be that GameDay has 'jumped the shark". Anyone willing to take that bet?

but last week's fark up was particularly special. they didn't fark up a judgement call. they farked up the procedure. it's a bit over the top, but they should all ~~be shot~~ never officiate a college game again.
