Female humans are leaky things.
They have a hole in their head that leaks nonsense, two holes in their damn shorts that leak pungent effluence, and a hole somewhere near the black egg meridian that leaks karmic entropy.
They carry bags to deflect attention away from the leakage. You see a female and think 'hmm, what's in that damn bag?' rather than 'what's that crazy nonsense coming out of her mouth?'
As a result the bag gets tainted by your thoughts, they dry to a flaky patina and eventually odors manifest.
It's not dirty though, you could eat your breakfast out of most bags and not worry.

this is CLASSIC fail... let's take a tour of the article:

'Next time you reach into your Mulberry tote to grab your purse, you could be putting yourself in danger of catching a serious - and potentially deadly - disease.'
be sure to panic! oh wait, it says *could* be
The study - which took swabs from inside a selection of women's handbags - found evidence of deadly food poisoning-inducing bacteria E.coli and faecal Streptococcus, which can cause pneumonia and bacterial meningitis.
More worrying still, researchers found traces of Coliforms, from the faeces of man and warm-blooded animals, which can lead to bloody stools, stomach cramps and diarrhea.

im panicking again! oh wait, it says *can*. it also gives no context... we probably find these bugs everywhere - door handles, etc etc
'Many people admitted too that they carry dirty underwear and used tissues in their bag every day.'
what's 'many'? no % figure supplied

you get the picture
