Pathetic, Bears.

Although this Alex Smith fella might be good, too, who knows...

eddievercetti: becksellent: So, Pouncey's out with an apparently serious right knee injury, and then Ben gets sacked.  Twice.  Awesome.

Just the 1st game...don't panic.

After last season, and Ben's injury proneness... no, panic is justifiable.

2013-09-08 1:41:30 PM

eddievercetti: America, stop Simon Cowell please!

If for no other reason... his teeth... are becoming ... tooo... bright!!!

2013-09-08 1:41:31 PM

yookaloco: Sleepy Hollow.

If you would have told me they were making a modern version of the Headless Horseman, I'd have bet a million dollars that it was going to suck, but from the previews, it actually looks kind of cool.

2013-09-08 1:41:32 PM

yookaloco: 3. Sleepy Hollow.

The more I see previews...the more I WANT this show to succeed.

2013-09-08 1:41:44 PM

Troy McClure: Change the owner, president, GM, and every coach... The Browns are still the Browns.

If you JUST change the city, though, you get two Super Bowls.

TheManofPA: Wheedon is up to 33.3 on the Delhomme.

But on the bright side, his completion percentage is over 50.

/If you count the picks.

The Lions usual redzone ineptitude is strong today

/I know it's against Jacksonville.

2013-09-08 1:42:59 PM

FriarReb98: So glad I didn't end up with Ben again this year.  Not that I don't still like the Steelers, but they need to get a real O-line again someday.

Which is why they drafted David DeCastro...who accidentally took out Pouncey just now.  Not that I'm blaming him, stuff happens and I do think he's gonna be good.  But, yeah.

I forgot that the Bucs are playing the Jets.

I want to go back to not acknowledging that game's existence.

thecpt: Incorrigible Astronaut: Good lord... judging from the few passes that RedZone has shown, Locker looks awful so far.

So far?

yeah, dude still isn't comfortable in the pocket under pressure, not something you can really coach

And he's an old man -- 10 year veteran? Wait... I'm a year older than him.

Oh... I made myself feel sad :(

Three! Three first downs! And finally a real pass!

WTF the ref throws a flag on the Lions after the runner has made the first down and the play is over? This is some bullshiat.

2013-09-08 1:44:03 PM
Detroit gets the 1st down, but has it negated by a hold. The Lions are doing their damndest to keep the Vikes in the lead.

Amazing what a difference having an actual NFL QB can do for you. Smith may not have been good enough for SF, but he is a world beater in KC.
