Good, she was just another paper pusher who was keeping us from fracking our way to heaven the way Jesus intended.

netizencain: I respect her for standing up for what she believes in... on the other hand  her job was do  what the government mandated she do... a government elected by the people.  If she didn't like it, all she had to do was quit and move to a state which was more aligned with her political mindset.  I doubt she was hired to "protect those that don't have a voice ".  She's a government employee plain and simple.  And now, rather than working within the system to help steer change, she just quits.  I'm not defending any of the moronic crap going on in NC as of late, but quitting doesn't make her a martyr or a hero, only unemployed.  Of course now, she'll probably get a good job with T. Boone Pickens, one of if not the largest private water rights holders in America.

I've never seen anybody do sixteen consecutive back and forward flips in a row, but you just pulled it off.  You respect her, you loathe her, she was right to quit, she was wrong to quit, she had principles, she's just a greedy fark.

Was that trolling or do you just have problems staying focused from one sentence to the next?

Resin33: This is probably the worst resignation letter I have seen in a long time. It is not wise to burn bridges on your way out.

I worked with a guy years ago who wrote a 7 line resignation letter where the first letter of each line spelled "f*ck you". That's bridge-burning.

These days when you burn a bridge it isn't just the one behind you but it is all of them in front of you. In job interview going forward you can count on a letter like this showing up and they will compare you to a candidate that never had written a letter like that and posted it publicly.

kg2095: I would hire her because of the letter. She has courage and principles.

And apparently, a passion for doing the job right. She'd be a great asset to any company that's looking for leadership by example.

Unless she's over 40, of course. Or wants more than minimum wage. Benefits are right out. Maybe an on-call 24/7 contracting gig?

I've been to North Carolina more times I'd care to admit, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that NC is a complete shiat-stain of a state. Seriously, nuke it from orbit. There is nothing of value there. Nothing.

The GOP is only doing this because they're horrible people that want to destroy the country.
