enik: The fact the The Butler is number one on any list indicates just how pathetic our society has become.

So I'm guessing you didn't really embrace the Civil Rights events of the weekend. Got it.

Any idiot thinking that You're Next landed with a thud, think about this for comparison.  To be as successful week one, Pacific Rim would have had to gross 1.3 billion dollars week one to match it.

Jizz Master Zero: Hey, Subby, fark you. Seriously, go fark yourself right in your stupid ear. You're Next was about as much "torture porn" (one of the most overused terms by people who have no idea what they're talking about) as Planes was, not to mention being far from dismal. The fact that it only hit #6 should be a cause of shame for the moviegoing public.

/Seriously wondering if Subby even saw it.
//Doubt it.

You're talking to the Deadline Hollywood subby, who regularly fails at math, reading comprehension, humor, and life.

realmolo: "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" were both pretty mediocre. If "World's End" is even worse, then it must suck pretty bad.

They're movies that are made for internet dorks, basically. They aren't very clever, but they hit all the right notes for people that think *they* are clever.

Don't you have any better way to kill time?

Apos: I'm probably in the minority, but I felt The World's End wasn't quite as hilarious as its predecessors. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the usual chemistry between Pegg and Frost seemed....absent. Perhaps a second viewing is in order.

I think it was the weakest out of the three but that's like saying Andy Summers is the weakest member of the Police
