My yinzer buddies are so confused right now. Steelers training camp has begun while the Pirates are still in contention -- many a befuddled hour is spent in front of an open closet door.

I won a nickel bet with my uncle when the Pirates came from behind against the Orioles in the WS. I don't think he spoke to me for the rest of the year.

/It's silly I know, but around that time I saw Dave Parker break his bat... on a check swing; blew my mind. I've seen ball players snap their bats like twigs (usually over a thigh) but I never saw one break just by stopping a swing.
