It isn't haarp. It's something far more sinister. You know about the disappearance of the bees? Lets just say they aren't really disappearing.

Confabulat: This is ridiculous. Sometimes I sleep to the Enterprise-D's engine noise, it's mostly just white noise. That's when the auditory hallucinations begin. Just the other night I was listening to it and got annoyed that I clearly left CNN on in the other room; I laid there and listened to them for awhile and then it got annoying enough so I got of out bed to turn off the TV and then as I got up I realized everything was off. So I went back to bed and it turned into Prince's greatest hits. Then I wondered if maybe I checked the laptop. Yeah, that was off too; it was vivid and perfect and fun to listen to, but it sure as hell wasn't real.

Stop doing meth.

The cases seem to have several factors in common: Generally, the Hum is only heard indoors, and it's louder at night than during the day. It's also more common in rural or suburban environments; reports of a hum are rare in urban areas, probably because of the steady background noise in crowded cities.

"Is it the air conditioning?"

Most of the people who hear the Hum (sometimes referred to as "hearers" or "hummers")

I am assuming people who describe themselves as 'hummers' don't know what that also means.

/No, I am not an army jeep 2.0 or a suburban fit with a plastic body kit.

I think I saw Hum open for the Toadies in Peoria back in 94 or 95. Good show, I think Brutal Juice was also on the bill.
