T.rex: 20 years is unbelievable... My little guy lasted 16.  similar markings.... He couldn't hear, walk, control his bladder...  Toughest decision of my whole life, but i had him put down.. Paid a person who specializes in pet euthenasia to come out to the house and perform it so Coltrane was in familiar surroundings....   Never necessarily believed in a 'soul' or spirit prior, but i actually felt him pass through me in the final moment as he ran off to the doggie farm in the sky.

I was going to tell you to wipe your feet and not bring any more dust in here.  But who am I kidding, this brought a tear to my eye.  Wish I had thought to have someone come to the house when my Golden's cancer became too much for her to bear.
