skinink: They're gonna potentially keep him in jail until he's 32 years old for this? He needs to serve time but the years he's facing is ridiculous.
gfid: Okay, cops weren't necessarily worthy of respect back in the day either
pedrop357: A handful of states try most/all offenses by 17 year olds, and a few more also
Texmaniac: Why would the police officer have a stolen safe in his backyard?
skinink: "James E. Fleming, 17, of 278 W. 2nd St. faces up to 15 years if convicted of the felony burglary charge associated with the June 9 incident."I know there are idiot criminals, but for some reason I don't find it too amusing that a 17 year old is facing up to 15 years for a non-violent offense, especially if it's his first. They're gonna potentially keep him in jail until he's 32 years old for this? He needs to serve time but the years he's facing is ridiculous. No one got injured. All these female teachers sexually abusing students serve less time.
