imfallen_angel: FTFA"You can now fit more than 100 Hollywood movies on the average machine."Let's see one of my 2TB drives... 2TB being very common.219 movies*, 33 TV series (most multiple seasons, all complete unless still playing), with 308GB to go.another drive...264 movies*, 8 complete TV series, 53GB left on that one.*Movies can be either 1GB AVI/MP4 or 5-6GB DVD video_ts folders. So even with 100GB set aside for operating system and software.. 100GB set aside for pictures and documents, etc. if you were to limit movies to be 1.5GB files each... a 2TB (which is 1.76 real space after format - minus 200GB for OS and other files) should hold about a thousand movies. (I calculate approx. 1100 )If you go with only HD, which you can get for about 3-4GB per movie, that's still over 400 movies.I think someone needs to do more math and research before writing an article.
Quantum Apostrophe: Apply that same math wizardry to the space delusions, tell me what you get.
